Shubho Sengupta is on the move again—this time to Nirmit Bharat, the brand-new subsidiary of ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce). After wrapping up a nearly two-year stint with Karmayogi Bharat, Shubho steps into the role of Advisor – Digital Marketing, helping shape the digital voice of one of India’s most ambitious commerce initiatives.
Nirmit Bharat is the force behind DigiHaat, the newly launched buyer-side app that aims to make digital shopping truly inclusive. With ONDC’s open, interoperable model disrupting e-commerce as we know it, Shubho’s arrival comes at a critical moment.
He brings with him a rich mix of government innovation, brand storytelling, and creative hustle—thanks to past roles at MyGov India, Coca-Cola, and ad-world giants like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, and JWT. He’s also been a startup co-founder, so rolling up sleeves and building from scratch? Not new territory.
