XLRI Concludes CHRO Conclave ‘Metamorphose 2024’ in Jaipur, Celebrating 75 Years of HR Leadership
Jaipur, 30th September 2024: XLRI Xavier School of Management, in celebration of its 75th anniversary, successfully hosted the CHRO Conclave ‘Metamorphose 2024’ from September 27th to 29th, 2024, at the Taj Devi Ratn, Jaipur. This landmark event, held in partnership with McKinsey & Company as the knowledge partner, brought together nearly 100 of India’s top Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs), thought leaders, and HR practitioners to explore the future of human resource management and leadership.
Centered on the theme ‘Emerge-Sustain-Lead,’ the conclave featured in-depth discussions on the evolving role of HR professionals in driving organizational growth, fostering resilience, and leading with purpose in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing business environment. Over the course of the event, participants engaged in dynamic keynote sessions, panel discussions, and deep-dive conversations focusing on key issues such as organizational agility, institutional capability building, and the integration of artificial intelligence into HR processes.
Key Highlights:
Day 1 (27th September 2024): The event kicked off with a chai and coffee session with Svati Bhatkal, followed by the official launch of ‘Metamorphose 2024’ by XLRI’s Board of Governors and Directors. A keynote session on “Building Lightning Fast Connect,” presented by McKinsey & XLRI experts, was a highlight of the evening, setting the tone for the summit. The first day concluded with a networking dinner and cocktail session, allowing participants to connect in a relaxed atmosphere.
Day 2 (28th September 2024): The second day began with a formal inauguration by Shiv Kumar, followed by several thought-provoking discussions. A keynote address on the current state of organizations provided critical insights into the future of the industry. This was followed by a series of deep-dive sessions on essential topics:
- Agility: How HR can drive organizational adaptability in today’s fast-paced world.
- Institutional Capability: Building and sustaining resilience in institutions through strategic HR leadership.

Day 3 (29th September 2024): The final day of the conclave featured a cultural immersion experience, where attendees explored Jaipur’s iconic Pink City and other historical landmarks. This provided a unique blend of learning and relaxation, allowing participants to deepen their connections in a more informal, experiential environment.
